We are delighted that Yeovil Town FC have today been added to our network of Higher Education (University) club partners for September 2025 to provide Academy graduates a fantastic academic pathway with UCS at their club.
Mike Morris, Partnership Director at UCS commented:
This is a great addition to our network and really complements the existing College relationship we have with Yeovil via VLUK within our group. Jamie and the club as a whole have proven to be a great partner to date. This addition will give youngsters within the Academy a clear pathway academically, which also protects the club regarding registrations.
Jamie Phillips, Academy Manager at Yeovil Town FC commented:
Introducing a Higher Education pathway at Yeovil Town through our partnership with UCS/VLUK is a massive step forward for both the club and our players. From a player’s perspective, it’s a unique opportunity to continue chasing your football dream while gaining a recognised qualification that sets you up for life beyond the game.
Not only does it give players structure, development, and a professional training environment, but it also provides security – both in terms of registration protection for the club and a solid academic foundation for the players. It’s the best of both worlds: a competitive football programme with a clear educational journey alongside it.
We’re passionate about developing well-rounded individuals, not just athletes, and this pathway shows our commitment to preparing young players for whatever comes next – whether that’s a career in football or something else entirely. It’s an exciting time to be a part of Yeovil Town & VLUK.
