Our BSc (Hons) Sport & Fitness students enjoyed an exceptional learning opportunity during their recent visit to the Rangers Training Centre.
Throughout the day, learners observed and engaged with the Women’s First Team, the Professional Development Phase and the Youth Development Phase, gaining a first-hand look at performance environments operating at the highest level. They were able to watch live pitch sessions, speak with coaching and sports science staff, and see performance analysis and sports science practices in real time.
This visit offered invaluable insight into the standards, expectations and routines of elite athletes giving our students an experience that truly brings classroom learning to life.
Experiential opportunities like this are a key part of our partnership with Rangers, ensuring that academic study remains closely connected to current industry practice. By bridging theory with hands-on experience, we aim to equip our students with the skills, knowledge and confidence needed for future employability in the sport and fitness sector.
A fantastic day of inspiration, learning, and real-world application.
