What to expect
Rangers Soccer Academy, working with UCS, will see students and student athletes able to access University age provision within the inspirational environment of Ibrox Stadium and the Rangers Training Centre via UCS lecturers, as well as utilising the club’s other practical facilities to supplement the academic delivery. With a flexible blended delivery model including virtual and in person face to face delivery, UCS are at the cutting edge of sports education. Rangers will then provide additional industry work experience for students across areas such as coaching, scouting, match analysis and life as an athlete.
The university course, offered in partnership with UCS, spans four years and is designed for students interested in developing their knowledge of the sports industry while gaining practical experience. The course is divided into four stages: Year 1 is equivalent to a Level 7 Higher National Certificate, Year 2 to a Level 8 Higher National Diploma, Year 3 to a Bachelors degree and Year 4 to an Honours degree. Each year focuses on a different qualification level, allowing students to progressively advance in their studies.
This degree is awarded by the University of the Highlands and Islands
