Our Level 6 BSc cohort had an exciting and impactful final face-to-face week of the academic year last week! They participated in the Dissertation Presentations Conference, showcasing an impressive array of research projects in collaboration with the University of Northampton. It was a day filled with innovative ideas, cutting-edge research, and meaningful academic discussions that highlighted the hard work and dedication of our students.
There were various interesting research projects presented including ‘Experiences of semi-professional and professional football players implementing pre-performance routines and superstitions’, ‘Exploring factors affecting football players’ decisions to play overseas’, ‘Coaches perspective on the removal of head guards after the age of 19 years in amateur boxing’ and ‘Homesickness and performance perception in adult footballers abroad’.
The success of the event was a testament to the high calibre of talent and scholarship within our degree programme as well as our outstanding lecturers!
