This week marked an exciting finale for our face-to-face sessions with Rangers and UHI BSc (Hons) Sport and Fitness students, and what a week it was! With sunny weather on our side, students immersed themselves in a variety of activities, including coaching, fitness sessions, and inspiring guest talks.

This week marked an exciting finale for our face-to-face sessions with Rangers and UHI BSc (Hons) Sport and Fitness students, and what a week it was! With sunny weather on our side, students immersed themselves in a variety of activities, including coaching, fitness sessions, and inspiring guest talks. Some students also completed their final assessments for coaching and exercise instruction, taking full advantage of the top-tier facilities at Rangers FC and the Village Hotel, where they utilised the state-of-the-art gym spaces.

The week concluded on a high note with an exclusive guest talk, offering students a valuable insight into industry-specific roles. James Fowler, Head of Academy Scouting and Recruitment, along with Cameron Dickson, Academy Scouting Executive, and Luca Carmelitano, Scouting Analyst, shared their expertise and provided a unique glimpse into the world of sports careers. This week was a true celebration of learning, networking, and preparing for future success!

Last week, our UCS graduates (BSc in Sports Coaching) travelled to Northampton to celebrate their graduation ceremony at The Royal & Derngate Theatre. They all looked wonderful in their gowns, and it was a joy to recognise the hard work, dedication and achievements they have put into their studies over the past few years.
