Pro Player Pathway

Our Pro Player Pathway allows those wanting to break through in the competitive world of football to unleash their football talent while pursuing higher education. This pathway seamlessly combines playing (or coaching) at professional or semi-professional levels globally with pursuing a BSc degree or HTQ. Elevate your game on and off the field with this exclusive opportunity.

What Does This Pathway Look Like?

Pro Player Pathways (PPP) is a global organisation that utilises its network of clubs around the world connecting them with the right player, coach or student athlete based on the prerequisite requirements. PPP work in collaboration with UCS, who educate our young aspiring footballers/coaches whilst gaining valuable experience within professional football.

You’ll be affiliated to a club either in the UK or abroad whilst studying with UCS, although you will return to the UK to attend the face-to-face education weeks scheduled over the academic year.

The Pro Player Pathway

Our short video provides insight into the journeys of three UCS Pro Player Pathway students and highlights some of the countries where our PPP students have had the opportunity to play.

Who Is This Pathway For?

Tailored for exceptional footballers seeking a unique blend of professional sports and academic excellence.

What’s the Cost?

By choosing this route, travel and accommodation expenses on the face-to-face weeks within the degree or HTQ programme will be reimbursed (our face-to-face weeks costs policy details the limits and criteria for reimbursement).

Where Have Our Pro Player Students Gone On To?

Our UCS and Pro Player Pathway student, Trey Williams, has moved to Nepal to play for Super League side Dhangadhi FC. Trey has had the opportunity to play in Australia and Cambodia while studying for his Higher Education qualification before being signed up to continue his professional football career in Nepal. Without the flexibility of this programme, Trey would not have been able to continue his studies alongside his playing and training commitments.
